Disney World right now: a family of 5, Nov 1 to 6, $207 less split

Right now at Disney World is our Wednesday look at one real trip, searched the night before: what one room costs, what a split stay costs, and how many nearby arrivals a split won.

This week is a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids, November 1 to 6, 2026, at Value and Moderate resorts. One room at Caribbean Beach for all five nights was $2,071. Moving once, to Port Orleans Riverside, brought it to $1,864, $207 less.

The short version

  • The trip: November 1 to 6, 2026, 5 nights, 2 adults and 3 kids, Value and Moderate resorts, hotel rooms and suites, up to 1 room change.
  • One room: Caribbean Beach, Standard Location, all 5 nights, $2,071 at the standard price, with no Disney offer on that room.
  • The split: 2 nights at Caribbean Beach (Standard Location, $833), then 3 nights at Port Orleans Riverside (Standard Location - 5th Sleeper, $1,031, with Disney's offer "Save Up to 20% on Rooms This Holiday Season"), $1,864 with tax. That is $207 less.
  • A split was the better buy on 5 of the 12 arrivals we checked, each 5 nights.
The request: November 1 to 6, 2026, 5 nights, 2 adults and 3 kids, Value and Moderate resorts, hotel rooms and suites, up to 1 room change. Most Value rooms sleep 4, so the trip needs a family suite or a Moderate room that sleeps 5.

Same 5 nights, one move

One room at Caribbean Beach costs $426, $406, $406, $406 and $426 a night with tax, $2,071 in all. The split keeps the first two nights at Caribbean Beach ($426, $406), then moves on November 3 to Port Orleans Riverside for three nights at $342, $342 and $347. Together that's $1,864, $207 less than one room.

Table of the 5 arrivals where a split won, of 12 checked: October 27 $2,220 vs $2,038, October 30 $2,177 vs $2,049, October 31 $2,114 vs $1,986, November 1 $2,071 vs $1,864, November 2 $2,104 vs $1,976.

Every split that won last night

We searched 12 arrivals around the trip, 5 nights each, for the same family. A split won on 5 of them:

  • October 27: one room $2,220, best split $2,038.
  • October 30: one room $2,177, best split $2,049.
  • October 31: one room $2,114, best split $1,986.
  • November 1: one room $2,071, best split $1,864.
  • November 2: one room $2,104, best split $1,976.

A split counts when it's the only way to book the trip or at least 5% cheaper than one room.
